A rescheduled, regular meeting of the Lake County Law Library Resources Board will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 and held virtually via Zoom, pursuant to House Bill 197 making temporary changes to the Ohio Open Meeting Act and passed by the Ohio General Assembly on March 27, 2020 and HB 404 extending the ability to conduct virtual meetings until July 1, 2021. The Lake County Law Library provides legal research, reference, and library services to the county and to the municipal corporations, townships, and courts within the county pursuant to section 307.51 of the Ohio Revise Code.
The Library is located in the lower level of the Lake County Courthouse in Painesville, Ohio. Patrons have access to a wide range of print and online resources. Our collection covers a variety of areas including federal, state, tax, family, probate, real estate, and labor law including over 1,200 print titles. These titles are non-circulating. All print books are to be used in the library.
